"No Gris Gris" New Orleans Pilgrimage 2025

Gris Gris is a charm used by voodoo practitioners to ward off evil spirits and calls on the spirit of God to bring luck to those who wear it. This Lent, join the krewe of an intentional religious community seeking God and faith on the streets and through the history of New Orleans. Pray. Study. Reflect. Walk. Eat. Reflect some more.
During Lent 2025, sojourners will journey to my hometown, New Orleans, to discover and act upon tenets of faith while experiencing one of the world's most dynamic cities together. Engage "the city that care forgot" through the lens of scriptural salvation history while deepening your spiritual life and studying together within a spiritual community.

Pilgrims will hear from local artists and scholars, eat at one of New Orleans’ classic restaurants, and visit several historical sites, including:
Chauvin Sculpture Garden (Kenny Hill Sculpture Garden)
The pilgrimage costs $2300 per person or $4300 per couple. Your registration includes: all retreat materials, 5 community breakfasts, 2 community meals, 1 community reception, 5 nights in the beautiful Q&C Hotel, attraction admissions, and transportation to and from regional pilgrimage sites.

Participants are responsible for additional meals, transportation to and from the airport/train station, and round-trip transportation to and from the home port.
A $250 non-refundable deposit secures registration for each person. At the time of registration, a new option for additional nights at the hotel is now available.

The Fine Print
Pilgrims:
create a spiritual community
move through guided experiences on the streets of New Orleans
should arrive in New Orleans by 4:00PM, Thursday, March 13, 2025. Return flights should depart after 2:00PM, Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
The pilgrimage costs $2300 per person or $4300 per couple. Your registration includes: all retreat materials, 5 community breakfasts, 2 community meals, 1 community reception, 5 nights in the beautiful Q&C Hotel, attraction admission, and transportation to and from regional pilgrimage sites. Pilgrims are responsible for additional meals, transportation to and from the airport/train station, and round-trip transportation to and from the home port.
A $250 non-refundable deposit required per person secures space.
The remaining balance is due January 31, 2025. You will be invoiced on January 1, 2025 and are expected to pay Digital Monastics, LLC through Square.
Pilgrims are responsible for additional meals, transportation to and from airport/train station, and round-trip transportation to and from home port.
Pilgrims will be asked to sign a standard media release and a non-disclosure agreement regarding access to copyrighted material.
If the pilgrimage is canceled for any reason, your security deposit will be refunded.
Participant cancellation forfeits the registration deposit.
