In the musical number, “Waving Through A Window” from the Tony award winning broadway musical Dear Evan Hanson, lead character Evan Hanson shares that he feels he is, “On the outside, always looking in. Will I ever be more than I've always been? I’m tapping on the glass. I’m waving through a window. Can anybody see? Is anybody waving back at me?”
